Hi, I'm Debbie Pocica, and proud to be offering PBi Placenta Encapsulation Services to Chicagoland families since 2009. I live in the near west suburbs (O'Hare area) with my 5 wonderful children. I came to learn of Placenta Benefits and placenta encapsulation in my practice as a professional birth doula at DoulaDeb Birth Services. As a doula, my goal has always been to help moms achieve the birth experience they desire. I honor the fact that birth can be a natural and sacred process, not always requiring the bright lights, stirrups and masked doctors we have come to expect in modern America. Realizing the amazing and sacred power of the placenta, I wanted to make placenta encapsulation a central focus of DoulaDeb Birth Services. In addition to being a Doula and Placenta Encapsulation Specialist (PES), I am a Certified Brio Childbirth Instructor (CBrE) and midwifery student. I am also proud to be a partner at Bellies To Babies Studio in Lombard where I offer a variety of childbirth education and parenting classes.
