You set your own fees for your services - most Certified Placenta Encapsulation Specialists charge between $150 and $250 per encapsulation. To complete the certification, you will need to do two (2) placenta encapsulations after you receive your manual. Phone support will be available to you at any time, for any questions that may arise.
You will also have access to a professional PowerPoint presentation provided by Placenta Benefits Ltd on the benefits of placentophagy, so you can immediately start giving professional presentations in your community. As a member of the PBi Network of Specialists, you will have personal support from Placenta Benefits Ltd, including email and phone conversations whenever you have questions related to running your business. Timing The coursework can be completed on your own schedule. Specialists have taken from three weeks to three months to finish their materials. Each placenta encapsulation will take three hours of your time, plus drive time. An encapsulation involves two visits to the clients' home. The first visit takes about two hours from setup through cleanup, and the second visit is less than an hour.

The coursework consists of five modules of the scientific research behind placentophagy. Each module is sent via email, and will contain one to four (1-4) research papers to read. When you've read them, you will write a short essay paper explaining what you've read and email it to PBi. Your paper is read and responded to, then the next module is sent. When all five modules are complete, you will be sent an online test that you must complete with at least 80% accuracy. 
As a Certified Placenta Encapsulation Specialist, you will join the PBi Network of Specialists and be granted exclusive access to the members-only Yahoo group. The group has the forms you will need to run your business, including Client Intake Forms, Specialists Liability Waivers, surveys, checklists and feedback forms.
