Hello and thank-you for reading more about me, my name is Trysta Major and I am a passionate advocate for women's health and healing. As a woman I have experienced the amazing process of labor and delivery in many ways. I have been surrounded by women's healthcare since I was a child, as my mother was a labor and delivery nurse and is now an Ob-Gyn Nurse Practitioner. The first birth I ever witnessed was "take your daughter to work day" as a 12 year old and was forever touched by the miraculous and powerful forces of nature that only women possess. As a young woman I supported birthing mothers as a Perinatal Nurse's Assistant in Labor and Delivery, collecting cord blood for Bonfils and private cord blood banks immediately following birth. I have long recognized the healing power of the placenta!
Since my time in labor and delivery I have since obtained my Bachelor of Science in Integrative Therapeutic Practices from Metropolitan State of Denver and Certified Master Herbalist in East and West Herbology. I practice herbal medicine in the Denver Metro area as well as in Bailey, Colorado. I also create organic herbal medicines, bodycare, teas, supplements and a variety of other products that support wellness from both an energetic and physiological perspective. The greatest accomplishment in my life is becoming a mother to my three beautiful children. The challenge is the greatest gift and lesson in life.
I had long recognized the potential for placenta as a tool in healing but became fully aware of encapsulation during my education. After reading everything I possibly could about the process, the benefits and the amazing historical uses by Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioners I decided to invest in having my placenta encapsulated. With my youngest daughter I struggled with post-partum depression, difficulty with lactation and low energy levels and was determined to do everything in my power to thrive and be able to provide everything my soon-to-be born son. The difference in energy, emotional wellbeing and milk supply was incredible. I am proud to now offer this same, supportive and nurturing service to women in the Denver Metro and Mountain areas. I would be honored to be a part of your journey!
Love and light,
Trysta Major
